Professor Jose Villalobos von der University of Texas in EL Paso bestätigt das. Im Rio Grande Valley liege die Wahlbeteiligung bei sechs bis acht Prozent an der Gesamtbevölkerung, in El Paso bei neun Prozent. Insgesamt gingen in Texas etwa die Hälfte der registrierten Bürger zur Wahl. „Er hat nur eine Chance, wenn er besser mobilisiert als Cruz.“
Beto O’Rourke reminds us that he’s visited all the counties in Texas (there’s 254) and burns Ted Cruz for not doing that. Cruz instead visited all 99 counties in Iowa because he was more focused on being President than helping TX. #TXSenateDebate
