Burton Cummings's latest blow in his legal battle against the current lineup of the
Guess Who is tarnishing the legacy of the famous Winnipeg rock band, a local music historian says — and could set the stage for similar rifts between bands and former members.
The band's ex-frontman has terminated agreements with performing-rights organizations for
every Guess Who song he wrote and published, which means fans of hits like
American Woman or These Eyes won't be able to hear them played live in concert, according to a story published this week by Rolling Stone magazine.
However,
Cummings's latest move means the band can't perform some of the Guess Who's biggest hits. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/burton-cummings-guess-who-publishing-agreement-songs-1.7173104Randy Bachman Band (Gründer The Guess Who..), Mick Dalla Vee .... mit American Woman
Vor Jahren gab Mick Dalla Vee's Bruder (Dennis aus Port Alberni, V.I.) - Bass and Vocals, den
Auftritt-Tipp.
Duncan = City of Totems (80 Totems).
Fazit:
"...One of the lessons learned: environmentalists don't close pulp mills; owners of pulp mills close pulp mills...."
Zum Duncan-Crofton-Smelly-Mill-Konzert:
Concern about mill emissions prompted a Clean Air Concert on September, 2004, organized by Randy Bachman, to raise money for a study of those emissions.

[size=85]....While Neil Young, his old friend from Winnipeg days, merely looks like just another Vancouver Island retiree in a Tilley hat, Bachman is like thousands of others from the prairie diaspora who have settled permanently in British Columbia. He now lives on a couple of acres on Salt Spring Island.....
I could write several novels about what I do not know.
