Hier sind diesen Monat wieder mal Wahlen. Heute lagen die Wahlunterlagen im Postkasten.
Apropos Namen!
Eine Kandidatin heißt
Pepper Saltman – Communist Party of BC (kann man sich gut merken)
Saltman is a recent computer science graduate with a history of advocacy for the working class. He has an economics degree from University of Northern British Columbia and accounting diploma and computer science degree from Vancouver Island University.
Einmal steht he, einmal she in der Kurzvorstellung!
Brunie Brunie is one of four candidates running for Mayor in the City
Brunie Brunie was steadfast in her belief, saying there was no compromise.
“There is no trade-off for environmental protection. We need to be able to breathe fresh, clean air. Half of Vancouver Island has already been logged, and we must save the trees. The trees are the most powerful weapon against climate change, and I, Brunie Brunie, will save all of our trees.”Ziemlich grün!
